Though associated with the Chinese New Year, the lion dance may be performed on a variety of occasions to usher in good luck and prosperity. The JHU Chinese Lion Dance Troupe can perform at many events, including, but not limited to, cultural festivals, restaurants, grand-openings, weddings, parades, and community service events.
